POST 1344; JUNE 11, 2014; BLUFFTON, INDIANA

What a treat to spend the night in HOLIDAY INN.  Rained at sometime, but missed it 'cause I was sleeping soundly.

Spent much of the morning walking the old town streets of WABASH, Indiana.  Never did find a cannon ball, but found something much more memorable...WABASH Business and residential folks, with whom I was treated to hours of conversation and an interview from the local newspaper.

Before leaving WABASH, visited CULVER's Restaurant, but missed both Sisters DAWN and VALERY who have been so kind to me.  Thank you again.

After lunch - again gifted by CULVER's Manager, drove some 30 miles deeper into the countryside of Indiana to the town of BLUFFTON, where I once again have been welcomed by PIZZA HUT to create today's Blog update.  Will also overnight in PIZZA HUT parking lot.

Will spend two nights in BLUFFTON.  Have many miles to walk to catch up.

Please say HELLO to MIKE BEAUCHAMP, Oner of MODOCK's MARKET ESPRESSO BAR, where I spent unforgettable time in conversation.

In the morning, must walk BACK toward WABASH to regain driven miles.  Will then walk East, picking up Route 224, following it to the Great Lakes near CLEVELAND, OHIO.
